Supporting young people on their journey into meaningful employment and equipping youth job seekers with the technology they need to learn, prepare, and step confidently into the workforce.
What happened
Rising Sun Foundation partnered with Youth Employment Services (YES) to donate five refurbished laptops, helping remove technology barriers for young people entering employment pathways. In addition to the devices, Rising Sun Foundation also covered a portion of the purchase cost through Excess Technology, strengthening a circular model that promotes reuse while expanding access.
These laptops will directly support job seekers with resume preparation, training, digital learning, and job applications; tools that are essential in today’s workforce.
